Who are we?
We are the Capital High School Parent Organization, or CHSPO for short. We are parent working together to enrich our students' high school experience.
- We promote communication between the school and families.
- We facilitate parent involvement in school-wide community events.
- We raise and allocate funds for a wide variety of educational programs.
- We support our at-risk students, facilitating the Capital High School Giving Tree and supporting grants and opportunities for all students including our graduates’ annual dry Grad Night.
When do we meet?
- We meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:30 - 8:00pm in the CHS Library.
Volunteer Opportunities
- Staff Appreciation meals and treats throughout the year
- Fundraising for student support and opportunities
- Grad Night planning committees throughout the year
- Craft Fair in May
- Grad Night in June
Cost?
- Annual membership fees are $25 per year, per family.
