The CHS College & Career Readiness Center (CCRC) is OPEN and ready to work with students to assist with career opportunities, apprenticeships or internships searches, college applications, applying for scholarships, and college visits. Parents/Guardians are also welcome to the CCRC, if they have questions and concerns regarding post secondary education and/or careers.

VISITORS

The CHS College & Career Readiness Center believes in providing our students with opportunities to learn about ALL post-secondary education/training:

College Representatives

During the fall, many colleges send representatives from their admissions offices to CHS to talk with interested students. Students can view a full list of college reps in SchooLinks.

Capital High School uses SchooLinks for college and career readiness. That includes coordinating college partner visits, events, and fairs.

We would love to include you in our programming to ensure that our students can have a chance to learn more about your school. Here is a quick video walkthrough of how to sign up and book an event with us:

It’s very easy to get started:

Military Representatives

CHS hosts recruiters from every branch of the military visiting campus in the commons during both lunches. Students must approach the recruiter to obtain information, they cannot initiate the recruitment process.

Career Representatives

Representatives from apprenticeships, internships, skilled trades, and employment offices are encouraged to share career information with our students. You can set up a Career Spotlight time with Mrs. Smith in the CCRC.
