Cougar Theatre Presents MAMMA MIA!
"Mamma Mia!" follows the story of Sophie (Haley Vincent), a young bride-to-be, on a quest to discover the identity of her father before her wedding day. After reading her mother Donna's (Julia Underwood) old diaries, she secretly invites three of her mother's former lovers (Will Morgan, Dorian Gurley, Jones Dillard Disston) to their small Greek island, believing one of them to be her father. What ensues is a heartwarming tale of family, friendship, and the magic of love, all set to the unforgettable songs of ABBA, including hits like "Dancing Queen," "Super Trouper," and "Take a Chance on Me."
This production not only showcases the exceptional talent of Capital's students but also highlights the importance of arts education and the incredible value of live theater. The cast and crew invite the community to join them for a performance that promises to be both uplifting and entertaining.
Evening performances will be on May 3rd, 4th, 9th, 10th, and 11th at 7 pm. There will be a matinee performance on May 4th at 2 pm.
