Student Assistance Program
Since 1996, the mission of the Student Assistance Program has been to ensure the safety, health and well-being of all students through programs that emphasize alcohol, tobacco, other drug intervention and support programs in the Olympia School District.
Our comprehensive approach provides prevention education and intervention while targeting the reduction of alcohol, tobacco and other drug use. Our Prevention and Intervention Specialists provide services to students and families directly related to substance abuse and other risk-taking behaviors affecting success in school and beyond. Identified students receive formalized screenings/evaluations, individual and/or small group education, and ongoing recovery support services.
