Week 18 (June 1-5)

  • There is a leadership Zoom Advisory Meeting on Tuesday at 10 AM
    • This could be a way to get leadership points!
    • Present your distance learning work and get feedback from the Advisory Committee
    • Whatever you did for leadership, show up and present it
  • There will a Yubikey review session Friday at 10:30 AM, should be 30 minutes
    • This is optional, but I need as many students for feedback as possible, this will help in the cyber security research being conducted by Portland State University

    • There's not as much description on the game prompt because it's simultaneously specific and deliberately non-specific.
    • Prompt for the 2020 Showcase is:
      • Game: Signature Mechanic Must Include Bones
      • Animation or Film: Bones
    • Project is due first week of June
  • Talk to a Professional at careerconnectathome.org and make summary of the event and personal reflective blog post
    • Learn about real jobs and careers from employers across Washington.
    • Join industry leaders for a series of on-line discussions — with live Q & A
    • Every school day in May
    • Live on-line at 3:30PM
  • Participate in Women in Media Webinars: Friday's at 11:00 am
  • Collaborate with other students in Trello on a collaborative project
  • Present your distance learning work in Session 8 Review at end of May (Zoom meeting to be scheduled with Advisory Members)

    • Unity will allow students to use our Pro licenses at home!
      • Email Mr. Le Duc if you would like one, He will be tracking who has one
        • Please do not share or we will have to turn off the licenses
        • Unity tracks which computers have the licenses, just sayin'
        • Unity only works on Mac and Windows computers, not Chromebooks
      • Recommend that students participate in the 1 month GAME JAM (detailed statement below) - something to challenge home-bound students
