2019-20 CHS Le Duc classes session review dates for advisory members

ACTION ITEMS

  • Scott: Send schedule of Tuesday’s to committee members to have them come to classes: Film, Game Design, and School of Rock on Oct. 22 during class times pictured above
  • Scott: Email list of roles for Film, Game and Rock to capture their ideas on what skills should the students should focus on during each week.
  • Scott: send Eric a reminder email or text on Wednesday that you will see him Thursday at 9:45am in Film class.

  • Decide on top skill for each role for each film, game and rock classes the first production session
  • Schedule topic specific meeting to add to the skills lists

Top Skills for Film, Game, and Rock

Film

  • Focus for Session 1 (October)
    • Director: MAKE DECISIONS - Have evidence of decisions you make
    • Cinematographer - INTENTIONAL LIGHTING - Have your scenes light with the lighting equipment we have
    • Sound Designer - USE THREE AUDIO SOURCES - Have evidence of three sound sources in your team file organization
    • Editor: ORGANIZE SHOTS, AUDIO, SYNC- Have evidence of your team file organization (labeling, folder structure, notes, etc.)

Game

  • Focus for Session 1 (October)
    • Coder: PROBLEM-SOLVING - Have evidence of problem-solving (journal)
    • Artist / Level Designer: TIME MANAGEMENT & ANALOG PROTOTYPE (FLOWCHART) - Have documentation of your time management (journal) and a flowchart of the game logic
    • Sound Designer: EQUALIZATION & CONSISTENT AUDIO LEVELS - Have evidence of EQ settings (screenshots) and consistent levels in the game

Rock
