The Game’s Afoot; or Holmes for the Holidays

By Ken Ludwig

Cougar Theatre proudly presents Ken Ludwig’s The Game’s Afoot. Kick-off this holiday season with the Christmas spirit, mystery, and murder. After renowned actor, William Gillette, best known for playing Sherlock Holmes, is shot during a curtain speech; Holmes becomes more than a stage persona as he solves his own attempted murder. A mix of 1930s farce and gripping mystery, The Game’s Afoot will keep you on the edge of your seat this December.

The show runs for two weekends: December 1, 2, and 3 at 7 p.m., and December 8, 9, and 10 at 7 p.m. at Capital High School’s new Performing Arts Center: 2707 Conger Ave NW, Olympia. Tickets are $8 for students and senior citizens, and $10 for adults, and can be purchased online or at the door.  Visit to purchase tickets online.
