Community Connections
We would like to highlight two key organizations dedicated to supporting the well-being and rights of young people in our community. Both of these organizations reflect the core values of Universal Human Rights Month, working to create a community where all youth have access to safety, support, and the chance to succeed.
- Community Youth Services (CYS): CYS offers a broad range of services for young people in need, including emergency shelter, counseling, and support for youth experiencing homelessness. They focus on empowering youth by ensuring their rights to safety, stability, and self-advocacy, providing a crucial lifeline for those facing difficult circumstances.
- TOGETHER!: This nonprofit is committed to youth advocacy, with a strong emphasis on promoting health, education, and resilience. TOGETHER! provides resources for substance use prevention, mental health support, and youth development programs. Through their work, they strive to create a more equitable and healthy environment where every young person can thrive.
