Have you considered trying out for a staged play? Here is your opportunity! CHS Theatre is holding auditions for our annual Dramafest. We have as many as 5 One-Act plays most written, all directed by students. Come to the theatre Monday, October 23rd after school from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. Tech positions will also be available. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Cummins.

Power Outage - RESTORED
Capital High School is currently without power, phone and internet. Classes are moving forward as scheduled and lunches will be served. Currently Puget Sound Energy has the estimated power restoration time at 1 p.m. We will update this post with any additional information.

OSD Student Representatives
Apply to be a Student Rep. on OSD School Board
Applications are being accepted for two new student representatives, one from Capital High and one from Olympia Regional Learning Academy, to serve on the Olympia School Board in the 2020-21 school year. Students who are incoming juniors or seniors in the 2020-21 school year are eligible to apply for the one-year student representative positions. The deadline to submit an online application is 11 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2020.

School operating on normal schedule today, Nov. 19
We learned this morning that there was a social media post overnight that referenced a threat to Capital High School. Olympia Police Department has identified the individual who posted the information on social media, investigated, and has determined that there is no credible threat to Capital High School. School will continue on normal schedule today. There will be increased police presence on campus today as a precautionary measure.
