2/19- Today students watched Ice Age in Spanish. There will be an activity tomorrow related to the movie.

2/20/08- Today students were given 4 pages of dialogue on the movie Ice Age. Students translated the pages from Spanish to English

2/25/08- Today students began working on Chapter 5. We read the cultural sections on pages 160- 161, went over the vocabulary words on pages 162, 163 and did the oral sections on page 164.

2/26/08- Today we went over the homework assignment and read and translated Los mayas de antes y de hoy (page 169). Students wrote bullets in English on the reading, which they will be able to use as notes in their test.

2/27/08- Today we went over the homework assignments began reading the story Quetzal no muere nunca.

2/28/08- There was a substitute today. Students worked on the story Quetzal no muere nunca; students wrote bullets on the reading.

2/04/08- Today we reviewed what will be on the test next Tuesday 3/11/08:
pgs. 160, 161, 162, 163, 169, 172- 175, 177, 180 and 184.
Students read pages 172-175 today and answered questions on page 175.

3/17/08- Today we reviewed chapter 5 test and began working on Chapter 6.We went over the vocabulary on pages 194 and 195, and we began writing bullets on the cultural information on pages 192 and 193. There will be a vocabulary quiz on Wed on page 194.

3/18/08- Today we continued reviewing the vocabulary words on chapter 6 using a translation and some other activities.

3/19/08- Today we took the first chapter 6 vocabulary test and did activities on page 197 #2 & #3.
3/20/08- Today students did page 198 5-8 in class and began writing bullets on the cultural section on page 201.
Homework: Finish bullets and study for vocabulary quiz tomorrow.
3/24/08- Today we did numbers 3 and 4 on page 202 and discussed them in class. The future tense was also introduced today for regular –ar/-er/ir verbs and the verbs tener/poner/pedir.
Homework- write bullets for page 204 and 205. Make sure to write separate bullets for each of the three sections. Study vocabulary on page 201 for quiz on Thursday 3/27/08.
3/25/08- Today we went over the homework on pages 204 and 205. We also did bullets on all of pages 206 and 207.
