2/ 05/08- Today we began reading the story No hay que complicar la felicidad on page 83.

Students completed the activities on pages 84 and 85 all. We then went over it in class.

2/ 06/08- Today we read the story in class and went over the homework.

2/ 07/08-Today we began working on the activities from pages 89-91.

Homework- Finish activities in pages 89-91.

2/ 08/08- Today we went over the vocabulary on the story and also reviewed reflexive verbs.

2/19/08- Today we began with the story Un día de estos. We discussed the author Gabriel Garcia Marquez and did activities on 95-96 A and B on both pages. We went over the activities at the end of class. This assignment was turned in at the end of class.

2/25/08- Today we worked questions related to the story Un dia de estos. Similar questions to these will be on the test tomorrow.

Homework- Review the questions from today's assignment for the test tomorrow.

 


2/26/08- Today we continued working on questions related to the story Un dia de estos. Similar questions to these will be on the test. Test is postponed.

2/27/08- Today students continued reading La Llorona in class. Students were asked to read for pronunciation and content. Students wrote bullets on content.

2/28/08- There was a substitute today. Students were asked to finish writing bullets for the reading La llorona.

2/29/08- Today we finished reading La llorona and discussed the political and cultural references of the story. We will finish the discussion on Monday.

3/17/07- Today we went over the homework from the post reading of El Ausente. We began watching the Movie The Legend of Bagger Vance.

3/19/07- Today we finished the movie and began discussions.

3/20/07- Today students began working on answering a series of questions regarding the movie. Students worked in groups and used The Deshlers Tower to create their ideas.

3/20/07- Today we continued writing a paper on the movie The Legend of Bagger Vance. This paper is worth part of one test grade and is due tomorrow.

3/31/07- Today we began working on the Don Quixote unit.
