Students completed the activities on pages 84 and 85 all. We then went over it in class.

2/ 06/08- Today we read the story in class and went over the homework.

2/19/08- Today we began with the story Un día de estos. We discussed the author Gabriel Garcia Marquez and did activities on 95-96 A and B on both pages. We went over the activities at the end of class. This assignment was turned in at the end of class.

2/25/08- Today we worked questions related to the story Un dia de estos. Similar questions to these will be on the test tomorrow.
Homework- Review the questions from today's assignment for the test tomorrow.
2/26/08- Today we continued working on questions related to the story Un dia de estos. Similar questions to these will be on the test. Test is postponed.
Homework- Study vocabulary related to the reading for quiz tomorrow (pages 94, 95, 104)
2/27/08- Today students continued reading La Llorona in class. Students were asked to read for pronunciation and content. Students wrote bullets on content.
Homework- Answer all the questions from the handout (10 points)
2/28/08- There was a substitute today. Students were asked to finish writing bullets for the reading La llorona.

2/29/08- Today we finished reading La llorona and discussed the political and cultural references of the story. We will finish the discussion on Monday.

3/20/07- Today we continued writing a paper on the movie The Legend of Bagger Vance. This paper is worth part of one test grade and is due tomorrow.
