2/21/08- Today we went over the homework did activities on pg 169 #11. We went over the activity and continued using the imperfect.

2/25/08- Today students worked on the oral activity on page 170 and read and translated an article on Jose Marti on page 172.

2/26/08- Today we did a quick oral review using the activities on chapter 5. We continued working with the imperfect. Students began working on creating a story using the format found on page 174. Students need to create pictures that follow the story; it must be colored.
Homework- finish the story and pictures; follow format on page 174. Find an article on Jose Marti on the internet and bring it to class.
2/27/08- Today students worked on the oral activities on pages 176 and 178.
Homework- Do activity #4 on page 178. Write questions and answers.
2/28/08- There was a substitute today. Students were asked to make a test using the vocabulary and verbs from chapter 5 (min. 25 questions). Students need to have an answer key for the questions.

2/29/08- Today we went over the imperfect of ar-/er-/-ir verbs. We began working with the imperfect of ser and IR. Students did pg 179 #5 and page 180 #6 as practice for the verb ser. Students should be preparing for a test on Wed. March 5th.
Homework- review the imperfect ser and Ir verbs.
3/17/08- Today we went over the chapter 5 test, and we began chapter 6.
Homework- Find some information on the following authors- Picasso, Botero and Goya on the internet. Make sure to bring it in tomorrow for an activity. Begin studying the vocabulary words on pages 194 and 195 (first 15) for a quiz on Wed.
3/18/08- Today we reviewed for the quiz tomorrow.
Homework-Study for quiz.3/19/08- Today we took a quiz on the vocabulary words on pages 194 & 195. We finished translating the information from the net on Picasso, Goya and Botero.

3/20/08- Today students worked on conjugating the reflexive verbs on chapter 6.

3/24/08- Today we went over the reflexives and direct object pronouns. We did activity #4 on page 197 and discussed the questions and answers.
Homework- Finish #5 and 6 on page 197 and review page 195 vocabulary in the blue box for a quiz tomorrow.
3/25/08- Today we went over the homework on page 196 # 6 and 7. We also did page 543 all.
