Make an appointment with your counselor. This will give you an opportunity to review the checklist needed to complete the necessary paperwork for your letter of recommendation.
Please allow a minimum of two weeks for your letter to be written by the counselor. Keep in mind they will need completed paperwork before they can begin the letter. The counselors want to write you the best letter possible, which requires input from a variety of sources. Completed paperwork includes:
• Resume
• 3 teacher evaluation forms (or two forms and a copy of a teacher's letter of recommendation)
• Interview
• Self-evaluation responses
IF you are using a common application, please print out the Secondary School Report Form and bring it to your counselor when you make your appointment.
