- Focus on technical writing
- Rubrics for labs for all kids in all sciences
- Focus on summaries in Horticulture
>>Discussed making a common rubric for assessment piece
>>No one is using writing lab as of yet but Tim encouraged us to use it once we get going with out writing assessments. Tim suggested we track as a department how many students we've sent and a general reason why.
>>Tim discussed counselor meeting. Counselors want to reach more kids and want to help. Ie. WOIS
>>Alison brought up concerns about giving up part of what we do. Protection Issue.
Suggestion: Invite counselors to come to our meeting when we can all be there. Let them come to us.
