Main Topic: We went through the skills lists that are defined to date and agreed to continue the development which will be presented at the next meeting in March 2005.
Some issues related to photography:
We discussed the similarities and contrasts between chemical vs. digital photography, highlighting the benefits of both.
The point was made that the majority of pros use all digital.
Chemical based photo has become mostly a teaching tool to build foundation skills.
Explained more about commercial photography and discussed competency.
John offered the idea of small group positive critique as a great way to engage the student artist.
Charlie asked about needs for programs
- Scott explained current setup, what will come with the remodel, and stated that we had a good representation of tools to work with.
Actionable Items
We asked members to look over lists and give feedback for next meeting.

- Kevin's recruiting video representative.
- Scott is going to talk with people from K records to recruit a representative.
- Scott is researching the following organization's; ISTE, Metiri Group, NWCET, and Washington State, for information for related topics: Outcome, Skills, Standards, and Leadership.
